LITERALLY COVENTRY BOOK FESTIVAL
This year I was pleased to be involved - at least on a very brief and superficial level - with the Literally Coventry Book Festival. For anyone who does not know about it, you can read all about it at the festival's official blog. When I discovered that part of the festival was to be held at Coffee Tots in City Arcade, I knew I had to get involved. In their own words "Coffee Tots is a community project... a drop-in cafe for parents and young children in a relaxing environment, offering affordable fair trade drinks together with a play and craft area for the children."
It's somewhere I take my son when we have the time and I was always made very welcome. This day of the Festival saw Layn Marlow and Ronda Armitage visit for a reading of their children's book 'A Very Strange Creature' and a creative session based around it. The kids loved it. Even the adults loved it.
