WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?
I am based in Coventry and work throughout the midlands and beyond. My packages include travel within 40 miles of Coventry, with additional milage to be discussed.
DO YOU OFFER A PRE-WEDDING SHOOT?
I do. These provide a great opportunity to get to know me in a professional setting, and to gain an insight into how I work - which takes away much of the stress of the wedding day. Many couples want to get used to being photographed before their wedding, or want some images for wedding stationery/guest books/signing prints for the wedding day.
DO YOU POSE PEOPLE FOR PHOTOGRAPHS?
Unless I am capturing candid moments, nearly all my wedding photographs will have some form of 'posing' involved. This can vary from completely staged, to minor directions on how to stand, hold yourself or where to place hands. This is all designed to bring out the best in you and showcase your special relationship, all of which stand to produce the most creative, and flattering results. However, the level of direction is guided by you - I will never get you to do anything with which you are not comfortable and I am very good at recognising this.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes, I have full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
CAN WE MEET YOU BEFORE WE BOOK?
Yes, of course. I will take you through samples of my work and find out what you are looking for from me. I offer advice on the best way to achieve your aims and provide guidance on how the photography element will fit into the plans that you have. Together we can decide if working together is what you are looking for.
HOW DO WE BOOK / WHAT DEPOSIT DO YOU REQUIRE?
In order to secure a booking I require a non-refundable booking fee of £200 and signing of my Terms of Business. I will also ask that you complete a short form providing details about your wedding.
DO YOU RETAIN COPYRIGHT IN THE IMAGES?
In short, yes. Retaining copyright is essential for my business. However, you will have the right to reproduce or publish the images as many times as you like for personal purposes. This includes printing them or uploading them to personal social media pages.
DO YOU USE THE IMAGES FOR MARKETING PURPOSES?
Yes. I reserve the right to use all images in printed and on-line promotional material, including leaflets, my website and social media. I also provide a 'sneak peek' of select few images on Facebook or my blog within a few days of the wedding. This is not set in stone, so should prefer me not to, let me know - I have a legal obligation to respect your wishes.
HOW LONG BEFORE WE HAVE THE IMAGES?
It is always difficult to be sure since it depends on the time of year. However, I generally say approximately 8 weeks before you have access to your on-line gallery. In the meantime, I will sometimes add a few choice images to my Facebook page as a sneak peek for you and your guests.
