Esther & Daniel contacted me in the autumn of 2017 telling me all about the plans they had made for their wedding taking place the following April. Three different venues, in three different towns sounded intriguing and I couldn't wait to capture their special day.
The day started at Napton Fields Holiday Cottages where our beautiful Esther and her gorgeous girls got ready and we really made the most of the stunning gardens. From there, we moved onto the main event: their beautifully passionate ceremony at my local church - St James' in Stychale, Coventry where unbeknown to me, I would meet among the guests some people I knew from many years ago. It certainly is a small world, although no time to catch up as after the longest confetti line I have every captured, we were on our way back to Napton Fields to make use of those lovely gardens - and the coolest camper van that the couple chose as their transport for the day.
Esther and Dan were naturals in front of the camera, which certainly makes my job a lot easier - you can see how they just ooze love for each other.
Finally, we moved on to Upper Boddington Village Hall where we captured the family photographs in-betweem impromptu games of football, including my own alternative take on the bridal bouquet toss - football fan, Esther throwing the ball to the lads, who took to their task with great enthusiasm, and our groom running out the ultimate winner.
In all, a wonderful way to spend a lovely spring day - a beautiful, fun couple who I know have many, many happy years ahead of them. Days like this make me love this job more than anything. Thank you for having me along, Esther and Dan - it was my pleasure to spend the day with you.
